The mobile app allows parents to create accounts, manage kids’ profiles, and control app settings, while the tablet app is used by children under parental supervision. By using our App, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

2. App Structure

The App consists of two components:

Mobile App (Parents): Used by parents to register accounts, log in, create and manage kids’ profiles, and delete accounts.
Tablet App (Kids): Used by children after a parent logs in. Multiple children can use the same tablet and account, each with their own profile created by the parent.

3. Information We Collect

We collect the following information to provide and improve our services:

Name: To personalize your account.
Email: For account registration, login, and communication.
Password: To secure your account.
Profile Image (Optional): To customize your account.

3.2 Kids’ Information

Name: To identify the child’s profile.
Date of Birth: To ensure age-appropriate content and compliance with children’s privacy laws.
Profile Image (Optional): To personalize the child’s profile.
Questions & Answers: Custom content created by parents for their child’s learning or interaction.

3.3 Automatically Collected Information

Device Information: Device type, operating system, and unique identifiers to optimize app performance.
Usage Data: Interactions with the app to improve functionality and user experience.

4. Permissions

The App requires the following permissions:

Storage & Camera: To allow parents to upload images from device storage or take photos for parent or kids’ profiles and questions.
Notifications: To send reminders or updates to parents and notifications to kids within the app (e.g., activity prompts).

5. Account Management

Parents can create an account, log in, and manage kids’ profiles. You have full control over your data:

Profile Management: Add, edit, or delete kids’ profiles at any time.
Account Deletion: You can delete your account, which permanently removes all associated data (parent and kids’ information) from our cloud and local databases. To delete your account, go to the account settings in the mobile app and select “Delete Account.”

6. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

Provide and personalize the App experience for parents and kids.
Ensure secure account access and profile management.
Send notifications and updates (with your consent).
Improve app functionality and user experience.
Comply with legal obligations, including children’s privacy laws.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal information or your children’s information with third parties, except:

Service Providers: Trusted partners who assist with app operations (e.g., cloud storage), bound by strict confidentiality agreements.
Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect the safety of our users.

We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption and secure servers, to protect your data. However, no system is completely secure, and we encourage parents to monitor account activity and use strong passwords.

9. Children’s Privacy

Goodpoints4kids is designed for children and complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and other applicable laws. We only collect minimal information from children (via parent-managed profiles) and require verifiable parental consent for data collection. Parents have full control over their children’s data and can delete it at any time.

10. Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide the App services or as required by law. Upon account deletion, all associated data is permanently removed from our cloud and local databases.

11. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Update or correct inaccuracies.
Delete your account and all associated data.
Opt out of notifications.

12. International Users
